| Nitinol
exhibits unique shape memory and super-elastic characteristics. The
product can be formed into a product, then bent or twisted into a
different shape, and then easily returned to its original shape. Nitinol
refers to a family of Ni-Ti alloys that possess these properties.
Principal applications include a variety of medical grade devices,
orthodontic wire, eyeglass frames, temperature control devices, clamping
devices, springs, and cellular telephone antennas. |
